After 25 Years, Coach Sherwin Retires as Head Boys Soccer Coach

After more than 25 years as the head boys' soccer coach at Boone Grove High School, Coach Brian Sherwin has officially announced his retirement from the coaching position. Over the course of his distinguished tenure, Sherwin amassed over 300 career victories, secured seven sectional titles, two regional titles, and led his team to 13 Porter County Conference championships since soccer was formally recognized as a conference sport in 2008. Beyond his achievements on the field, Coach Sherwin played a pivotal role in the integration of soccer into the Porter County Conference and has been a steadfast advocate for the sport at all levels. Boone Grove Athletics extends its deepest gratitude for his unwavering dedication, leadership, and passion, which have profoundly impacted our student-athletes for more than two decades.
