It was a successful night across multiple programs for Boone Grove athletics, as girls soccer, volleyball, and golf all delivered standout performances. Girls Soccer Dominates Morton The Wolves wasted no time asserting control, racing to a 5-0 lead in the opening seven minutes before cruising to an 11-0 victory over the Morton Governors. Junior goalkeeper Audrey Wellestat earned her first clean sheet of the season, anchoring a defense that never allowed Morton to gain momentum. Boone Grove returns to action Wednesday (Aug. 20) with a non-conference matchup at home against Griffith. Kickoff is set for 5:00 p.m. Volleyball Sweeps the Blazers The volleyball program added to the winning night with victories at both the JV and varsity levels against Marquette Catholic. JV: The Wolves battled through a three-set thriller, pulling out a 25-12, 22-25, 15-9 win behind clutch serving from sophomore Elana Hylek. Varsity: Boone Grove earned a 3-1 decision (26-24, 25-15, 21-25, 25-21). Sophomores Brooklyn Gluth and Alyssa Skibbie made key contributions at the net, while junior Lauren Voudrie anchored the back row with steady defense in the decisive fourth set. Next up, the Wolves open PCC play on Wednesday against South Central. JV is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. Golf Spotlight At Forest Park, junior Khloe Napierala earned runner-up honors as the girls golf team battled against Portage.
